The Internationalisation Center’s mission is to provide support to the SME sector in the Silesia Province in their efforts to expand into international markets and to economically promo- te the region’s export offer.
The Center implements pro-export projects for SME entrepreneurs, offering them a range of services, including:
participation in foreign mis- sions and study tours,
export-related training and workshops,
developing information packages for exporters,
organisation of information me- etings for exporters,
specialized consulting services.
At the same time, the Interna- tionalisation Center is responsible for building and developing a network of international contacts, serving foreign investors and supporting them in contacts with local authorities and companies from the region. It also acquires foreign contractors for Silesian companies.
The Internationalisation Center also works closely with the Marshal’s Office of the Silesia Province to support diplomatic missions and foreign business environment institutions in the field of economic development of the region. Furthermore, it is implementing a cooperation agreement between the Upper Silesian Fund and the Polish Investment and Trade Agency. This has resulted in, among other things, joint events for exporters and the intermediation of both institutions in acquiring business contacts for Silesian companies looking for new business opportunities on foreign markets.
